In accordance with our policy with respect to the issuance of NYSPEC support or opposition memos (MIS/MIO), I have received a request to issue support memos for bills that have passed both houses. If you oppose NYSPEC issuing a support memo for either of the following bills, you must notify me via email by the close of business on Monday, July 1. If you have no opposition to the issuance, you need not respond.
President Chris Summers of the NYS Correctional Officers & PBA Inc. (NYSCOPBA) requests two support memos: an MIS for A9084 (Jones) / S8408 (Jackson) which would provide the "death gamble" benefit to his members, and an MIS for A6146-B (Buttenschon) / S5500-B (Skoufis) which relates to the disclosure of public employee disciplinary records.
