On Friday, April 3rd, the Nassau and Suffolk PBAs hosted a “Fix Tiers 5 & 6" rally, attended by numerous members of the New York State Public Employee Conference. NYSPEC Chairman Peter D. Meringolo was one of several key speakers who addressed the assembly. He reminded those in attendance that NYSPEC's number one legislative priority is tier equity, and updated them on the efforts of NYSPEC’s legislative team to advance toward that goal in this year’s New York State budget negotiations.
