Dear Members:
When I wrote to you in mid-January about the cancellation of our Annual Legislative Breakfast in Albany, I indicated that we would try to re-schedule for a later date predicated on the status of the ongoing COVID situation.
I am pleased to announce that we have scheduled a new date for our Annual Breakfast in Albany.
Here are the details:
Tuesday, March 22, 2022
Breakfast Commences 8:00 am
Formal Program Commences 9:00 am
Hart Lounge – The Egg
Empire State Plaza, Albany
While we are currently not permitted in the Legislative Office Building, hopefully that will change by the date of our breakfast. Nonetheless, our event will be conducted, as in the past, in the Hart Lounge at The Egg.
As always, key leaders and government officials have been invited to address us, and I am hopeful to receive confirmation from all of them that the current restrictions will not preclude their attendance.
I believe it is important to try and have the breakfast, as it has evolved over the years to be the premier NYSPEC event of the year.
Please note that immediately following the breakfast we will conduct our first Legislative Committee meeting ( lunch will be provided) to discuss the status of our agenda. Hopefully you can plan your schedule to allow you to be able to attend both the breakfast and the legislative meeting.
I will be following up with the management of the Hart Lounge –The Egg on their current protocols and will pass that on to you as we get closer to the event date.
I look forward to this event, and I know that all of you will make every effort to attend!
