I am pleased to report that we have a request for a new union to join the New York State Public Employee Conference.
Edwin L Christian is the Business Manager of the International Union of Operating Engineers, AFL-CIO Local Union 14-14B
He represents public employees that work in New York City and New York State.
In accordance with existing procedure as per our by-laws if anyone has an objection to accepting this application for membership you are to notify me via email and state your reasons for rejection of membership.
There is no need to respond if you agree with acceptance of membership.
If I do not hear any negative response by close of business Friday August 6, 2021, I will proceed to notify Business Manager Christian that his application for membership was approved and welcome him into our organization.
