As the NYSPEC convention is now less than 30 days away, the date has passed to cancel room reservations with full refund. As per the new cancellation policy, which NYSPEC was forced to implement to avoid the payment of significant penalties for late cancellations, any cancellations will require payment for all nights booked.
While I am hopeful that there will not be any need for late cancellations, I understand that there may be legitimate mitigating circumstances. In that eventuality, I want to try to help anyone who has to cancel for good reason.
Please understand that I can make no promises, but if you absolutely must cancel I would ask that you inform me first. This is because there may be members who are booked at another hotel at a higher rate, and if they are able to cancel those reservations without penalty, we may be able to make a switch where they take the room you must cancel at the Caribe Hilton.
I want to help any member who has a legitimate reason to cancel at this late date. Again, please be aware that I will try, but cannot promise I will be successful.
