First and Foremost I wish all of you ,your families and your members a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving.
Suffice it to say we had a very successful convention. It was unfortunate that some of you were unable to attend due to the circumstances surrounding the vaccination mandates and other pressing issues that did not allow you to attend.
We had good conversations and networking while voicing our concerns for what is happening in the labor movement.
I am hopeful that we will be able to once again walk the halls of the legislative office building in 2022
I wish to thank all of you for re-electing my entire team to continue to represent all members of the New York State Public Employee Conference.
It is my distinct honor to be the elected leader of such a prestigious organization,
I look forward to working with all of you. It is more important than ever for unions to act cohesively. With the continued input and support from our individual units, we will continue to fight the battles that need to be fought to protect our members. Our work must continue , both on the legislative as well as the public fronts in advancing NYSPEC's interests.
