As I have done in the past, whenever I receive a request from a key supporter of the New York State Public Employee Conference, I always want to be sure I pass it on to the membership. I received the below request from a staff person.
The New York State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli has a critical filing deadline on January 14th. We're hearing that Assemblymember Ron Kim from Queens is raising money to challenge Tom in the Democratic Primary in June (one of our supporters spoke to him and confirmed it). This January filing will be the first filing for Tom's election year and it's vital that we show the extent of his support. Please ask your members if they can give any amount before the cutoff on January 14th.
